"I need you to know that you are my inspiration."

And there’s a very interesting relationship between Denise and Moray. You notice it instantly in the first episode: they have this attraction… They’re like magnets, they’re just drawn to each other, and I think part of that is that there’s that shared passion for “The Paradise” and the success of “The Paradise”, and Denise has these ideas, and Moray sees that, and he’s fascinated by it […]

Thank you, thank you, for posting these!! I don't know how I'm going to wait until the next season comes out! Loved this episode!!
ReplyDeleteGreat episode, great ending! I hope Season 3 is intended? THANK YOU SO MUCH JUNE !
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I have enjoyed paradise, Downton Abbey.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for next season.
June thank you for posting. I find your blog inspiring! Please post episode 8 again, I was into it 10 minutes and it stopped playing because the maximum views had been reached and it's only 9:30 in Utah!
ReplyDeleteYesssssssssssssssssssss:):):) Thank you June for making my week!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! But the way they sewed up all the lose ends, it seem's like a finale. Do you think they'll have a season 3?
ReplyDeleteThanks June! I think some of the actors need to move on to other acting projects. So, I'm guessing there will be no season 3.
ReplyDeleteThanks June, Will you please post Season 2, Episode 8 again. It has reached maximum views.
ReplyDeleteAm I right in thinking that the maximum views have been reached again? ...Pretty popular :-)
ReplyDeleteWill you please Season 2, Episode 8 again. I enjoy the Paradise.
ReplyDeleteHi June, would you mind terribly if I asked you to post it again? I can't currently view it. Thanks a bunch!!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your posting episode 8. I have to say that I loved Season 1 shown in the US on Masterpiece so was anxious to see season 2 - was able to find all episodes; however, I found most of this season a little uneven. The writing wasn't up to par (I have not read the novel except the last couple pages where Moray asks Denise to marry him) and I presume that is because the first season was more based on the actual novel. While I am happy that Moray and Denise finally got together, I found her hitting him across the face distasteful. In our modern age of feminism, while Denise may not have wanted Moray to call her "his most prized possession," I found his "my little champion" his charming term of endearment for her the entire first season, and to make it a point of contention - or as some of you Brits say - to get her knickers in a twist over it - seemed to be pretty out of character. Also, if a man hitting a woman across the face may constitute physical abuse, where does it make it ok for her to do it? I could understand her being upset, but really! If she loved the guy, would she really do that just because he said that? Good grief. That seemed pretty unrealistic. Maybe the US professor who said all sex between men and women was rape wrote that episode. Who knows?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you
DeleteI, too, thought that the slap was wrong, although more because it was out of character for Denise. It was an endearment for Moray to call her his little champion, even to think of her as his possession. I loved the ending for its feminist turn on the end of the first season, and I do think that we do not need a third season. To our hearts' contents we can watch the scenes in the episodes we love best and believe that all is well between these two. I agree that the writing was choppy this season, that the scenes were kind of short and mixed up, while some others were quite enjoyable. The entire second season was made up to continue the story, which was already restyled to make Moray and his Paradise more idealized. A woman of that time would not react in the ways she did, even if she would have been ahead of her time. Not that far ahead. Still, I enjoyed it. The actors, the story. I'll enjoy them again. June, I very much appreciate your faithful posting and reposting of these videos. Enjoy your holidays.
